Tuition assistance will be awarded to deserving Lifeguards who are attending college.
This is a recognized charitable foundation. Bring your checkbook or a pocket full of coin. With your help we give kids the educational opportunity they deserve while honoring one of the bravest, fun-loving men on the planet.
Steve Belson had salt water in his veins. He patrolled the Rockaway Shore as a Lifeguard in his late teens and early twenties. Next in the natural progression was the Fire Department of New York. He will always by Mister Ladder Two-Four!
September 11th, 2001 changed much. We honor those who sacrificed all on September 11th. We recognize the budding professionalism of today’s Lifeguards.
On this day we celebrate a true son of the beach, Steve Belson.
