Steve Belson Memorial Swim and Music FestivalTuition assistance will be awarded to deserving Lifeguards who are attending college.
This is a recognized charitable foundation. Bring your checkbook or a pocket full of coin. With your help we give kids the educational opportunity they deserve while honoring one of the bravest fun-loving men on the planet.
Steve Belson had salt water in his veins. He patrolled the Rockaway Shore as a Lifeguard in his late teens and early twenties. Next in the natural progression was the Fire Department of New York. He will always be Mister Ladder 24!
September 11th, 2001 changed much. This year we recognize the tenth anniversary of that event. We honor those who sacrificed all on that day and we recognize the budding professionalism of today's Lifeguards.
On this day we celebrate a true son of the beach, Steve Belson.
